SHIPPING and RECEIVING

Art Werks uses a number of courier services for incoming and outgoing orders. Special care is taken during packaging to ensure the safety of your materials. This service carries a minimum handling and material charge plus shipping billed at cost. Customers without an open account have the option of sending payment for the full order including the cost for return shipping or we will return the order C.O.D. Originals will be returned in the same packaging as received. It is the artist's responsibility to insure artwork with the courier for the delivery to Art Werks and leave explicit insurance instructions for the return delivery. If no crating or packaging is available to you, Art Werks will provide this service at an additional charge.

MINIMUM CHARGES

The basic minimum charge for each invoice is $5.00. A $20 minimum applies to the production of 35mm slides in each category: copy, dupe.

PICK-UP and DELIVERY

Phone quotes are estimates only. In order to give accurate quotes a customer service must personally review your materials and requirements.

COPYRIGHT LIABILITY

Art Werks shall decline to reproduce material with a valid Federal Copyright Mark unless it can be demonstrated that the order is being placed by the Copyright holder, or one authorized by the owner, or that the use is a "fair use", and Art Werks is held harmless from liability if that is not the case.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

Submitting any film, print, slide, negative, artwork or sample to Art Werks Photographic Lab for processing, printing or other handling constitutes an AGREEMENT by you that any damage or loss by Art Werks, subsidiary or agents, even though due to the negligence or other fault of Art Werks, subsidiary or agents, will only entitle you to a replacement of like amount of unexposed film and processing. Except for such replacement the acceptance of the film, print, slide, negative, artwork or sample is without warrant of liability, and recovery for any incidental consequential damages is excluded. In addition Art Werks is not responsible for orders, including originals, left at the lab for over 60 days or the fading of film and prints as dyes are controlled by the manufacturer.
